亲爱的老师（我们班教师只有一个，美籍）同学们，

大家早上好。

这是我第一次发表英语演讲，也是第一次竞选班长，为此我感到荣幸。

此时此刻，我的性情十分激动，当然也很紧张。班长是一个很多人想做却不敢做的职位。因为这个职位需要一位有能力的人来担当。

我没有和大把握去当一名好班长，一旦我上任，我会尽我最大的努力来做好这个班长。

我们认识不过一天，所以我希望我们能在接下来的几个想起李，互相学习，一起玩耍，让这个班级变成我们记忆中最短却是印象最深刻的班级。

如果我没有选上，我不会感到可惜。因为我的失败说明了我需要进一步提高自己，继续努力。这个演讲帮助我展示了自己，也让我学到了很多。
